MILLIE PRIOR 5 '8" Sr. - San Diego, CA

Millie enters her senior campaign with the Toreros tennis program ... a walk-on in 1997, last season Millie finished 8-8 in singles (7-5 at No. 6) and 3-0 at No. 3 doubles ... two seasons ago in '97, Millie finished 19-21 over-

all (13-14 singles; 6-7 doubles) ... she teamed with Julie Baird at No. 3 doubles for a 3-3 mark ... Dean's List Second Honors each semester at USD ... enters the 1999 spring season with an overall record of35-40 (23-27 singles; 12-13 doubles) ... has worked very hard each season since walking on in '97 and has improved im- mensely ... she prepped at University of San Diego High School where she was selected the team's MVP her senior year .. . her junior campaign she earned the Highest Winning Percentage Award ... she also lettered in track & field where she was the recipient of the Coaches Award, MVP and All-Purpose Award .. . she was also recruited by Colorado, North Carolina and Santa Clara ... besides tennis, enjoys judo ... her brother Jerry played tennis at Villanova ... parents are Jerry & Millie Prior ofBonita, CA. ANJA TRAGARDH 5'10" So. -Malmo, Sweden Anja begins her second season with the USD tennis program ... she is projected to play in the top half of the singles line-up and will also see plenty of doubles action ... this past fall season she went 5-4 in singles, including a quarterfinal

appearance at the ASU Invitational ... last season she finished 17-3 in singles (.850 winning percentage) ... she strung together a 9-match winning streak, and then finished the season by winning her last 7 matches ... she was named to the West Coast Conference All-Singles team ... a real competitor, Anja is real tough in singles play ... in the fall of 1998 she knocked off USC's Karolina Bakalarova (#55 fall ranking) twice ... she enters the 1999 spring season with an overall record of 28-19 (25-10 in singles; 3-9 in doubles) .. . she chose USD for the tennis program and the Business School ... besides tennis, Anja enjoys skiing, golfing, traveling, outdoor adventures and french culture ... parents are Ulla Tragardh and Carl Gustaf of Malmo, Sweden. Major: Business Administration.
