Reminders! The Town of Yarmouth has 14 designated spac- es at the Cousins Island Lot. Ten passes are annual parking permits issued by lottery by the Town of Yarmouth. The four daily spots are on a first come - first serve basis. Yarmouth polic- es the daily spots and issues tickets as need- ed. The third person to leave a message on the office phone after 6 PM on October 10th and says “Happy Hallow- een” will receive a ferry guest ticket book. Daily parking at Cous- ins Island is based on availability. Access to the lot is purely on a first come - first serve basis. Day parkers must be out of the lot by 5:30 PM. For the month of October, day parkers cannot enter the lot until 7 AM due to lack of space. Overnight parking at the Cousins Island lot is allowed only for persons holding a regular annu- al parking permit. CTC management re- serves the right to make exceptions as it deems appropriate.

Barging Junk Cars CTC will barge junk cars on a space available basis for no cost. Cars must run and have working brakes. The customer must load the car on the barge and unload it at Cousins. Dave’s Junk Yard in Freeport will pick up the car at the Cousins Lot. Their num- ber is 865-4702. if interested. The Independence ... ..is undergoing sea trials and Coast Guard inspections in the next couple of weeks. We do not have a definite date when she will come home.

Traveling with Dogs It seems that the number of dogs traveling on CTC has increased substantially. When dogs are on our ferry or bus, they must be leashed and, if aggressive, muzzled. Dogs are not allowed on ferry or bus seats. Finally, out of respect for other passengers and the neighborhood, please clean up after your dog. We pro- vide pet waste bags at both parking lots and on the wharf. Thank you!
