Preface

JimAlexander Watt, was born July 5, 1923 and possessed a lineage stretching back to the Industrial Revolution. Innovative changes to the steam engine in 1765 by the Scottish engineer, James Watt, led to worldwide changes. His descendant JimWatt had no talent for engineering but instead was called by God. In the Fall of 1942 Jim was an unbelieving college student. He had no idea that God was about to change everything. While reading Psalm 107:23-24, (“They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; these see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.”) he felt God tell him to join the Navy to receive a revelation. After be- coming a believer he was approached by a Russian Jew who offered to teach him Greek in return for Jim's promise to study the works of the great mathematician Dr. Ivan Panin. Jim spent a lifetime keeping this promise. Jim was well prepared for this endeavor. He began his education at UBC in Van- couver but this first attempt at his studies was cut short as WWII intruded. After the war he moved to Saskatchewan and first matriculated at the George Hawtin Bible School later attending St. Andrew's College while also studying and gradu- ating from the University of Saskatchewan. It was during this period he embraced the discipline of outlining resulting in winning 5 scholarships and a cum laude des- ignation with his degree. Outlining would prove instrumental in his work with Panin. After graduation he married and brought his bride, the newly converted high school friend, Marie Gaudet, to Saskatoon and the couple started their first pastoral experience. It was a small congregation foreshadowing the many small groups which grew under the ministry of Jim and Marie. Next, the couple moved to Chicago for Jim to earn a B.D. at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. Later, he was also awarded an M.D. His scholastic achievements served himwell and he en- thusiastically continued learning throughout his life. A Baptist church in Chicago was their next home where their family was completed with 3 children. Later he ministered in nondenominational, Evangelical, Charis- matic and Messianic Jewish churches. Until 89 he continued his leadership in churches. In addition to pastoral duties he taught at several Bible colleges, served in prayer groups and worked as a team with Marie in Two Are Better Than One Ministries. Woven throughout he managed to spend over 40,000 hours to expand on Panin's work. In his 80's he embraced computer technology to expedite his proj- ect. He also shared his studies by sending out numerous emails to a list of sub- scribers that grew to over 1,000. He was determined to finish his work through to publication. Jimwas intrigued that Panin had found mathematical patterns underlying the bib- lical text. These patterns established which alternate reading was numerically cor- rect, as well as establishing the correct section, subsection, paragraph,

subparagraph, and sentence structure. The mathematical patterns, “Bible Numer- ics”, hold true for both Greek and Hebrew. Jim created an outline to provide context to the corrected text. This outline provides critical and novel insights into the meaning of the words. Thoughts are no longer jarringly divided by seemingly arbitrary chapter and verse breaks. In Matthew, the greatest story ever told flows seamlessly from the birth of Jesus to the “great com- mission”. Jim's life was committed to making this work as widely available as pos- sible. This work is great tribute to Jim's intellect, commitment, and love for God and His Word. Jim entered into Glory July 19, 2014. Many of Jim's writings, on this and other subjects, can be found at www.2rbetter.org.

Editor’s Note:

Jim Watt was an avid outliner. He credited his success in school to outlining.

Jim conformed his outlining to the sentence and paragraph divisions in Panin’s Numeric Bible. Each break in outlining is driven by numerics. For space considerations, the following outlining format has been adopted: I. MAJOR HEADING A. SUB-HEADING 1. DIVISION a. POINTS WITH HEADING The Points with Headings are divided with spacing and the Points without Head- ings are without spacing. The Bible Text is left justified except for Points without Heading where it follows the Point. The Headings, Sub-Headings, Divisions and Points ARE NOT divinely inspired. In fact, Jim invited anyone to create and use their own labels for the Outline. Again, the outlining does give insight into the clear sentence and paragraph divisions in Panin’s Number Bible. May you be blessed as you meditate upon God’s inspired Word for your spiritual profit. Joshua 1:8-9 and Psalm 1 Jim Ray Bible Text b. Points without Heading Bible Text

Dedication I dedicate with gratefulness and appreciation this “Outlined New Testament” to Dr. Ivan Panin. He died in 1942 in Aldershot, Ontario, after 50 years and over 100,000 hours of arduous labors to perfect his Bible Numeric Greek New Testament and his English translation. Not only did he in 1890 discover under the leadership of God the numeric structure of both the Greek and Hebrew Testaments, but also the very numeric sentence and paragraph structure of the 27 New Testament books. I have merely made use of these two amazing discoveries to use them as the basis for this “Outlined, Interlinear New Testament”. Though now some 70 years later, I have worked on this in accordance with the desire and wishes of Dr. Panin. May it be the blessing to readers that he envisioned during the years of his labors. He is indeed Russia’s Gift to Christianity!

Acknowledgments

This Outlined Interlinear NT’s production has truly been a team effort thanks in part to the following: George R. Gordon of Vancouver, my step-grandfather, was effectively used be- tween 1933-1937 in planting in me the Gospel seed that in 1944 brought me into God's Kingdom. Mrs. Mary Bertha Allquist of Port Alberni, BC, missionary to her own adopted peo- ple the Jews, was my first mentor to plant in me the primacy of Jew first and then the Gentile to form the one ‘New Man” in Christ. Both my wife Marie and I owe much to her influence. Dr. Ivan Panin and his 100,000 hours of labor in fulfilling his discovery of Bible Nu- merics in the production of this Bible Numeric Greek and English New Testaments. Dr. Jewell of Calgary, Alberta, who challenged me in July of 1944 to study the works of the great Ivan Panin. Larry Van Schoiack, who in 1995 felt led to supply me with a computer, printer and lessons on their use which was a necessary step for me to prepare the text for posting and printing. My wife Marie has been a key part in this whole production by her intercessory prayer for me and its behalf from 1948 on. In 2008, as a birthday gift to me, she gave me an HP laptop which has been extremely helpful. My grandson Keelan Long encouraged me to let him transfer my operating systems from “Windows” to “Linux” for its software. Because of the technical challenge of this manuscript, this has been absolutely essential. My former associate, who unilaterally used my materials to produce an Interlinear Greek NT, so corrupting the vision and goals of Ivan Panin, that I from this found the motivation to produce this present product to offset this other corruption. Up to this time, I did not have the faith that I could use a computer for this challenge. Richard Long of Ottawa, Ontario, who challenged me in 1998 to write up the 12 Embryonic Revival Principles that came together in 1948 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. I linked these with the 12 tribes of Israel and they appear on our Website under “Embryonics”. In 2000 God confirmed to me that Richard's sugges- tion was of Him. Requests for unabridged copies of “Embryonics” sent out by Richard deluged me. My oldest son Jim Watt Jr., recognized my need and produced for me our website so that individuals could by-pass me and go directly to the website to obtain full copies.

My grandson Keelan Long recognized in 1997 that the website needed updating with data-processing for undergirding. This he did for the “Archives” section and followed this up with the “Interlinear” section as well. In 2009 I formed a “Pilot Prayer Team” to pray through the Interlinear production with Elvin Gladney, as the leader, Terry Brown, Ed Densmore, Glen Hill, Jim Ray, John Hwang and Dennis Katzeek. Three Intercessory Prayer Groups led by Rosemary Lambert, Cindy Cowper and Julie Baxter have undergirded this whole project. Elvin Gladney made contact with his printer friend Timothy Johnson, who subse- quently, felt God's leading to see to the successful printing of this Interlinear. Jim Blanchard, Timothy Johnson's associate, made major contributions in format- ting and preparing the text for printing. Jim shared several ways on how to “tighten” the manuscript so many pages of printing could be saved. Walter Muench of the Midwest voluntarily proof-read the entire English NT text by Ivan Panin. On August 21, 2100 God suddenly promoted Elvin Gladney at the age of 53 to a better place above! Elvin effectively started the process for the Interlinear public tion but it left the question on how it would continue. The very week of Elvin’s passing, God led Jim Ray to succeed him as chairman of our “Pilot Prayer Team” and liaison with Timothy Johnson for the fulfillment of the Interlinear printing. Jim Ray and I served as fellow-teachers at the “Living Faith Bible College” in Car- oline, Alberta from 1977 for a number of years. At my invitation he joined our “Pilot Prayer Team” of 8 members in 2010. In taking over its leadership, he most effec- tively worked with our printer and his associate. The proof-reading of the Inter- linear manuscript commenced in earnest in January, 2011. Jim Ray joined me in this arduous task and without his expert help, I could not have completed it alone. All of the above including me are but “cogs” in God’s wheel. Jim Ray has been one of the key cogs; but each one of us together is needed in this wheel of God’s clock. Jim is now chairman of the “Publication Committee” to undergird our printer and publisher Timothy Johnson in all of his significant responsibilities to complete the printing and publishing of both book and e-book formats. Bill & Delight Petersen have been faithful over a 3 year period on a quarterly basis in helping us meet expenses in the production of this project. On an annual basis, Bob & Sue Swindle have joined the Petersen's in this timely help. And just this year an Oregon sister at the Moses Lake Conference in January, felt led to add to this a “seed gift” for the Interlinear.

In conclusion, apart from each member of this team, this goal would not have been achieved. For me at 89 to be adequately engaged in updating and proof-reading is a test in itself. I am sure there are others omitted from mention who have also served as team members in making this product possible. In 1967 God said to me “Get My New Testament done!” It is not Panin's, or mine; - it is God's - and we all as a team have been engaged in that which is close to His heart!
