The Club will again participate in the Brew fest on 9/27/25 at Bragg Field. There will be a sled and trailer - prizes for the MSA Super Raffle - on scene to help promote the event. Blaine brought up the subject of the Club’s Polaris 6-wheeler which was purchased in 1999 and needs to be replaced. After discus sion, the Club voted to allow Blaine to shop for a side by side and covered trailer, with a budget of up to $25,000. Within days the deal was done and it was accomplished under budget. This will allow the Club to store all necessary equipment in the covered trailer— ready to go to work. The Club will also sell some unused drags and other equipment. October 17, 18 and 19 will be the dates for the MSA Snowmobile and Recreational Vehi cle show in Augusta. The Club’s Annual Christmas Party, for members, will be held on December 13, 2025 at the Highland Lake Resort in Bridgton. This will have a slightly different flavor—more information to follow. Bill Preis has started the 2026 trail map pro cess and will have an update at the next Club meeting. The next meeting of Pleasant Mountain Snowmobile Club is scheduled for Friday, October 10th, 2025 at the Bridgton Commu nity Center. The Fabulous Pot Luck Supper begins at 6PM followed by the business meet ing at 6:45. Come to our meeting - renew your member ship if you have not already done that - and learn about our upcoming Club events: the Christmas Holiday Party, Club Rally, and Club Trips. All are welcome! Hope to see you there, Bill Preis This is being written as we wind down an incredible September! Despite that the days are getting a lot shorter, colors are in the trees, and many places have seen the first frost. While we’ve had a dry summer, that can only mean that Mother Nature is going to average it out with a LOT of snow this winter (fingers crossed)! Not a ton of snowmobile related news at this point. The club has resumed its monthly meet ings the 2 nd Thursday of each month. Meeting starts at 6PM with a potluck meal prior to the meeting at 5:30. Come on out for the food if nothing else! Planning for the next season is in full swing. EBSR will have the Groomer Rodeo on Satur day February 7th. We will host the Kid’s Day event as part of the Katahdin Area Winterfest during school vacation as well. As always come on out to our Tuesday night Music Jams. These are held every week, food is served starting at 4:30, and the music is 6-9 PM. You can find the menu each week on the Club’s Facebook Page. Better yet – there’s no admission charge! EASTERN MAINE SNOWMOBILERS Holden, ME EasternMaineSnowmobilers.com Find us on Facebook Welcome to Fall! As I’m writing this on the first full day of fall! I can’t believe we are that close to snow mobile season! This is when things start ramp ing up. We just had our annual open house / mem bership drive /BBQ at the clubhouse. This featured snowmobiles to view courtesy of Bangor Motorsports, trailers courtesy of SR1 in Hermon and our new Kubota UTV die sel from Dorr’s Equipment. A few lucky par ticipants got rides around the parking lot area in our new tracked cab vehicle. This was one Club Correspondent See us on Facebook EASTERN REGION EAST BRANCH SNO-ROVERS Medway, ME

Anyone that didn’t renew at the open house already received a packet in the mail with their membership form and a little stack of MSA super raffle tickets. You can send them back with your membership to the club address listed on the letter. Thank you all. In closing, again I would like to thank everyone that has helped contribute to the club and especially to fulfill Larry’s dream at our clubhouse. Please join a club! And if you can please volunteer to a local club. Volunteering your time is invaluable to any club. Money dona tions help but it takes human bodies to get the work done. Hope to see you at the club soon! Troy G Trail Grunt Just looking out the kitchen window wait ing for sun to rise on this last weekend of the summer of 2025. Really has been quite a year with all of the rain this spring followed by a summer with pretty warm (sometimes even HOT weather) with little or no rain. The lawns, flowers, and gardens truly have strug gled throughout the dry conditions. We will really need a lot of SNOW this winter to get us back on track. With that being said, it has been nice to go to events locally and across the state to enjoy them. We have been to quite a few events where snowmobile clubs have a booth selling MSA Super Raffle tickets, memberships, 50 /50 tickets, and even food and drinks. Really draws even more attention and crowds when trailers, sleds, and gear are showcased as well. Many thanks to Al Swett for his tireless efforts to make sure that as many clubs as possible can benefit from his providing those items. On the home front, we have just started our meetings (1 st and 3 rd Wednesdays of the month) at the GLRSC clubhouse 2838 Ohio Street @ 7:00P.M. -the membership applica tion letters with 6 MSA Super Raffle Tickets and the calendar of events have been mailed, THANK-YOU to MARION and TIFFANY. Please send the completed forms, with a check/ money order as soon as you can - this will ensure your 2025/2026 season member ship with all of the benefits and continue your monthly subscription of the MSA Paper. GLENBURN LAKESIDE RIDERS sc Glenburn, ME Good morning fellow snowmobilers,
With the onset of Sacopee Valley Snow Drifters (SVSD) 2025/2026 snowmobile season, SVSD would like to thank all of our property-owners (over-one-hundred of you), the use of your property. Another big thank you goes out to the club-members (around forty), and the core group of volunteers (a bakers-dozen of 13) for supporting the sports of snowmobiling and all other winter sports. Thank you and join-us by supporting your sports of the great outdoors right here in Maine… John Lambert - Club Reporter/Trailmaster WESTERN REGION FRYEBURG AREA SNOWMOBILE ASSOCIATION Fryeburg, ME Greetings, I’d like to start this letter by thanking all of the volunteers who manned our fair booth this year. Your help is greatly appreciated. And thank you to all the folks who came by the booth and bought tickets to show their sup port! I hope we have some big winners! Trail work started the weekend after the fair and we are thankful for the volunteers who help get our trails ready for the new season. You guys are the backbone of our club for sure! We are planning our annual prime rib dinner fundraiser for November 15th at the Fryeburg Mason’s Lodge. There will be 2 different seat ings at 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM with a maximum of 75 people per seating. Our poker rally will be on Saturday, Febru ary 21, 2026 at the North Fryeburg Commu nity Chapel again this year. Look out for the event on our Facebook page in the near future with more details. Here’s hoping for a great winter season to all! Sincerely, On September 12 th , members of the Pleas ant Mountain Snowmobile Club (formerly Bridgton Easy Riders) gathered to enjoy the First monthly meeting and Fabulous Pot Luck Supper of the Season—and what a delicious meal it was! President Blaine Chapman called the meet ing to order at 6:45 with a Pledge of Alle giance. Blain reported that Kathy Hendrix and her committee sent out membership appli cations and Raffle Tickets. Thanks to Kathy and her crew! Andy Merrill is our new Trail Master! Wel come to the crew! He replaces Steve Brill who held the position since 1998. Well done Steve—the Club really appreci ates your dedicated hard work. Andy asked for a volunteer to help make a new series of trail signs. Bridgton has 55 road crossings in need of new signs. Please let him know. Blaine reported that a new house is being built in West Bridgton near Hio Ridge Road and the home owner will move the trail for us, and will deed a right of way to the Club. Also, the trail to Nouria Gas Station on Bragg Way has been blocked with large rocks and a new trail will have to be established. Bridget Gorton Club Secretary PLEASANT MOUNTAIN sc Bridgton, ME
