OIL & GAS UK EVENTS

CONFERENCES Oil & Gas UK runs a number of well respected and attended conferences, most recently the OSPRAG Summit, the Offshore Decommissioning Conference and the Next Generation Conference. Typically attracting around 300 attendees and representing a broad spectrum of professions, these focused and high calibre conferences provide delegates with the opportunity to hear from our industry’s leaders on a variety of specific and topical areas. WORKSHOPS Oil & Gas UK workshops are run in both Aberdeen and London and are aimed at a wide selection of industry professionals, all of whom require updates or training on a specific industry developments, products or initiatives. Each workshop is developed with the needs of delegates in mind, typically with a class size of around 20 people if held in our offices, or up to 60 if held externally. The half day workshops include presentations, case studies and the opportunity to discuss the topic with peers within the industry. AWARDS Oil & Gas UK holds two sets of annual awards, the UK Oil and Gas Industry Safety Awards and the Oil & Gas UK Awards. The events grow year on year and our winners are widely acknowledged in both the local and national press. PILOT SHARE FAIR PILOT Share Fair allows delegates to be among the first to hear about the latest UK oil and gas business development opportunities from the major oil and gas players. Representative from both the operator and contractor communities unveil their 18 month forward plans for projects in the UKCS at the event. It is the largest event in the Oil & Gas UK programme and in 2011 attracted a record-breaking 1,100 attendees.
