1 Company Information Spearhead is a specialty sub-contracting company providing interior construction services for institutional and commercial buildings, both in public and private sectors. Spearhead was founded in 2016 by Owner and President, Anne “Andee” Hidalgo. Andee served six years on active duty as a communications officer (Captain, Signal Corps) in the U. S. Army. She led soldiers of the 3rd Armored Division ("SPEARHEAD") in combat during Desert Storm and was awarded the Bronze Star. Andee will draw on her experience as a proven leader while serving in the military as well as the refinement of those skills in corporate America and the financial services industries. 2 Spearhead’s Certifications Meet Three Categories: Minority, Women-Owned and Veteran Spearhead holds Small Business designations at the State and Federal levels. At the state level, New York State’s Empire State Development (ESD) and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) certify Spearhead as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and as a Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). The New York Office of General Services (OGS) certify Spearhead as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB). At the Federal level, Spearhead is a Certified Veterans Enterprise (CVE) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business owner (SDVOSB). The company earned its certificate from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors. Spearhead is also a Certified Construction Manager. 3 Spearhead Services Provided Spearhead’s core competencies include Interior Carpentry (Walls and Ceilings), Ceiling Tiles (Acoustic, Metal, Wood), Specialty Finishes (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) and Glass- Reinforced Gypsum (GRG)), Tape and Finish, installation of Finish Carpentry, door and hardware installation, tile, masonry, stone, pavers, and brick. The company carries a $2 million general liability policy and a $5 million commercial excess liability policy.
