Please confirm Spearhead’s plan for all control joints at the top capitals and bottom bases of the trusses per previous RFI responses. Spearhead should be working south to north to complete these joints at this time. I have also responded to the email below, as the latest RFI response per your questions below was in regards to the top of the capital joint to the gypsum soffit ceiling (see attached with line called out). Thank you.

From: Sean Sent: Friday, January 3, 2020 9:06 AM To: Trause, Zachary ; Gary ; Andee Cc: Corallo, Frank ; Mock, Brian ; Bilgen, Murat ; Kirby, Mackenzie ; Carson, Bill Subject: Re: RFI - Control Joints I've read this 4 times and I'm still not clear.  This email thread alone has conflicting information.   There should be no visible joints between the GWB ceiling and the GFRG truss capital.    I've attached detail #1 sheet 82-70.  I don't believe we ever figured there would be a joint between the ceiling and truss capital.   NO VISIBLE JOINT BETWEEN CAPITAL AND SOFFIT CEILING The transition between the curved GFRG and the sloped GWB should be taped, spackled and finished to a level 5 finish. Is this indicating that the joint at the top, between the GRG capital and the slanted truss should be taped and spackled - no visible joint?  If so, this is different than what we were directed by LGP (Sherri), and SWJV at our onsite meetings last month.  We have been leaving a 1/4" joint at the top to allow for control, which has been taking us extra time to cut and make straight.  PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THERE IS NO VISIBLE JOINT AT THE TOP.  I have resent the elevation drawing for reference.  NO, KEEP ¼” JOINT BETWEEN GFRG CAPITAL AND GYPSUM TRUSS AS PREVIOUSLY CONFIRMED Control joints in the sloped GWB ceiling following the trusses should be placed in alignment with the control joints which are centered on the ACT tech zone panels, as shown on the A22 drawings. Is this indicating that the flat part of the ceiling should match the ACT tiles?  I have attached a blow-up of the drawing that I believe they are referencing.  If so, we never had a question about the locations of the joints in the flat ceiling. CONFIRMED It is important that SWJV gets clear direction from LGP, HOK and gives that direction to Spearhead.  We have already spent a number of hours trying to make a clean, clear joint at the top of our capitals.  I hope that this wasn't wasted time.  We need drawings issued from SWJV indicating to Spearhead EXACTLY where the CJ's are to be.
