Produced and aged in the tropical, fertile province of Nakhon Pathom, this Thai rum offers a concentrated flavor profile shaped by its unique regional terroir. Shakara 12 Year Rum 91.4PF / 700ML The long aging process of SHAKARA lasts for 12 years and takes place in the tropical climate of Thailand. Aged in ex-Bourbon cask, the combination of high average temperatures and a humidity level between 60% and 80% concentrate the flavors of the rum. The results are a rich and deep palate leading into a long and complex finish, due to a very high angels’ share compared with rums aged in continental climates. SHAKARA is bottled at 45.7% abv with no coloring, sugar, additives or artifice.
