this past experience with the present, since in such buildings there is always something the future may learn from the past.. And that is what happened to the design developed for a Slovenian company selling different sorts of lamps and lighting fixtures and offering ser- vices in the field of light design. The prototypes of its interiors were the nu- merous experiments of Achille Castiglioni with the show-rooms of the Flos Company carried out since 1968. The very first project made by the designer for this company dated back to 1968. It contained an innovational for those times idea – the idea of mobile modules, in each of which there were separate light sourc- es. However, the independence of these mod- ules was rather relative: when necessary they could have been gathered in a multi-figured composition to involve more and more buyers into the fairly show of light and illumination. In the 90-th of the last century Castiglioni cre- ated the fourth generation of the Flos show – rooms. He made each module look like a separate room of a simulated house. This was connected with the fact that by that time the line-up of the company’s products had dramat- ically increased to the unprecedented limits. In the interior of the Intra Studio the archi- tects did not concentrate their attention on the functions of the rooms, in which the lamps were located, but on the effects these lamps could produce.
