Programme content and design This is a three-day residential programme taking place at Cranfield School of Management. Taught by our expert faculty, you will benefit from a combination of theory and real-world practical sessions that can be easily applied to your organisation. Group work will be featured throughout the programme, giving you the opportunity to share diverse ideas and success methods used by your peers across a range of sectors. You will address the core theories and models to better understand strategic procurement practices and the link between its performance and competitive advantage.

Dr Soroosh Saghiri BSc MSc Phd FCILT SFHEA Programme Director and Senior Lecturer

Soroosh has BSc and MSc degrees in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of East Anglia. He has published two book chapters and more than 10 articles in international academic journals and conferences, and professional

magazines. Soroosh has been involved in teaching, research and consultancy in universities and companies in the UK and internationally for the last fourteen years. His professional activities include a wide range consultancy projects in fields of supply chain planning and management, supplier evaluation and development, production planning and control, market research, project management, quality management systems, operations strategies, and sustainability.

Professor Martin Christopher BA MSc PhD FCIM FILT FCIPS Programme Director and Emeritius Professor of Marketing and Logistics Martin’s work in the field of logistics and supply chain management has gained international recognition. He has published widely and his recent books include Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Marketing

Logistics . Martin co-founded the International Journal of Logistics Management and was its joint editor for 18 years. At Cranfield, Martin chairs the advisory board of the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Research plays a key role in the work of the centre and contributes to its international standing. Martin is active as an advisor to many organisations and is non-executive director of LCP Consulting, a specialist consulting service in the fields of logistics and supply chain management. Martin is an Emeritus Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

How to find us Cranfield School of Management is located about halfway between London and Birmingham, and on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. Junctions 13 and 14 of the M1 are five minutes away and Milton Keynes railway station is 20 minutes by taxi.
