2000: Batted .272 in her junior campaign. In 54 contests, she recorded six multi-hit games, 31 hits and IO RBI. Bridges led the Toreros in games versus Brigham Young University (2-for-2), Long Beach State (3-for-3, 2 RBI) and CS Dominguez Hills (2-for-3, I run , I RBI). Jennifer posted a .964 fielding percentage in the 2000 season . 1999: Appeared in 49 games and batted .2 17 for USO. Bridges displayed her offensive power with 2 doubles, 2 tripl es and one home run in the 1999 season. Bridges was
also so lid on defense with an impress ive .968 fielding percentage. She led USO vs. CS Dominguez Hills, batting 3-for-3 with I RBI and I run scored. Bridges was also outstanding vs. UC San Diego goi ng 2-for-3 from the plate with I triple, 2 RBI and I run scored. College: Jennifer Bridges attended Citrus College for her freshman year. She was an All– Conference se lection at Citrus College.
Prep: Attended St. Joseph High School where she earned First Team A ll-Del Rey League honors each season while lettering in softball all four years. Bridges also earned the Consistency Award. Besides softball, Jennifer lettered in vol leyball, tennis and basketball. She was the MVP of her vo lleyba ll team and earned the Coaches Award in tennis. Personal: Born November 12, 1979 in Downey, California. Jennifer chose USO for its great academics and small campus. She is a Psycho logy major and Business minor. 2000: Recorded eight runs , two doubles and two RBI while appearing in 44 games for USO . Smith was nearly perfect on the basepaths, stealing 4-of-5 bases. Was 4-for-5 at the plate in a double-header versus CS San Bernardino, also ta lli ed two RBI and two runs versus the Coyotes . Earned All-WISL academic honors in her sophomore campaign. 1999: Sm ith appeared in 3 1 games and batted .262 with 11 runs scored and 3 RBI. She utili zed her speed on the basepaths, stealing 4-of-6 bases . Smith , a solid defensive player for the Torero outfield, posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Prep: Helped lead Xavier College Preparatory to a 19-8 record and Desert Mountain Conference league title in 1998. They finis hed with a state ranking of 7th as Smith batted .396 and was

Charl ie attended Rio Salcido Communi ty Co llege before transferring to USO. Chose USO for its catholi c environment, school and class size.
