Wendy McReynolds, Assistant AD for Marketing & Promotions Wendy McReynolds begins her first year at USO as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Promotions. Wendy comes to USO from Virgina Tech

Erin Sheehan, Assistant Director of Athletic Development Erin Sheehan, entering her first year at USO, brings a wealth of experience to this position, most recently as the Development Officer for the San Diego Symphony. Prior to that she held positions as Publishing Product Manager for Advanced Market– ing Services, Inc. in San Diego; as Development Relations Manager for the Oregon Museum of Sci–

Prior to her appointment at Virginia Tech she also gained experi– ence at the University ofMaryland where she was Assistant DirectorofSport Marketing for two years, at Wichita State for two years as the Assistant for Sports Marketing & Promotions and at the Un iversity of Florida Athletic Association as a Marketing Assistant. She earned her B.S. degree in Sport Management from Guilford Coll ege in 1994 and her M.S. degree in Sport Management from West Virginia in 1996. Andy Fee, Assistant AD for Athletic Facilities & Operations Andy Fee is in his second year at USO, and his first in the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Facilities and Operations. Fee assists John Martin in overseeing all the scheduling, field maintenance and purchasing for the department's athletic venues. Fee came to USO from Arizona State University where he was Ass istant Director offacil ity Operations for Ath letics the past two seasons. Before that he was Facility Supervisor for the ASU Student Recreation Complex . Besides his work at ASU , he developed Athletics and Manage– ment skil ls with the NFL Cardinals, Fiesta Bowl and PGA Phoenix Open. From Scottsdale, Arizona, he earned his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Hi story in 1996 from Arizona State University. Andy and his wife, Nicole, were married this past August and reside in San Diego. Dean Aresco Strength & Conditioning Coach Dean Aresco is in his third season as USD 's Strength and Conditioning Coach. He came to USO via Towson State Univer– sity where he was their head coach for three sea– sons. Additional professional experiences include stints at the University ofConnecticut as a Graduate Assistant, and at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in San Diego as the Interim Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. He earned hi s B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 1995 from the University ofConnecticut, and is close to completing his M.A. degree there in the same field. A NSCA Certified Strength and Condition ing Specialist, he also holds memberships with NSCA, the U.S. Weightlifting Federation, and the American Coll ege of Sports Medicine. Josh Lawrence Director ofJenny Craig Pavilion

Josh Lawrence is the Director of the Jenny Craig Pavilion and comes to USD after 7 years at UC San Diego, where his responsi– bilities included managing the RIMAC Arena. L;;;;;;;;;;;::;::;:;;;;;;~,I Josh's duties included coordi nating all events, from athletic competition to the presentation of concerts and special events, as well as maintenance throughout the Sports Facilities at UCSD. Here at USD, Josh's responsibilities wi ll include schedul– ing, staffing and a ll management aspects ofthe Jenny Craig Pavilion. In this capac ity he wi ll manage the daily operations of the facility, including event management and marketing of the Pavilion. Josh received his B.S. from UC San Diego in 1993 with a double major in Political Science and U.S. History. Derek Hillestad JCP Asst. Director/Events Manager Derek Hillestad begins his second year as Assistant Director of the Jenny Craig Pavilion and Events Manager. He came to USO from Ball State University for the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also earned job related experience as an Event Operations Supervisor for Alliant Energy Center in Madi son, Wisconsin; as a Program Assistant for the Department of Recre– ational Sports at Texas A&M; and as Event Co-Coordinator for the Depart– ment of Recreation Management at the University ofWisconsin-La Crosse. He graduated from Wisconsin-La Crosse with a B.S. in Recre– ation Management (2000), and received his M.S. in Athletic Administration from Ball State University in Ju ly of 2002. where he was a Graduate Assistant for Sports Facili– ties and Recreation Programs in 2001-02. He is a member of the National Strength Coaches Association, and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
