Initial DTK

Choice of North , South , East , or West . Note that the choice of Starting corner limits which Initial DTK selections are valid. Preview displays Invalid if you select an Initial DTK that is incompatible with the Starting corner (in order to stay within the grid).

Leg length (Nm) Spacing (Nm)

The distance of each “long” leg.

The distance of each turn or “short” leg. This is the width between each long leg.

This value implicitly specifies the number of legs as the number of legs is the maximum number of legs that will fit within the grid cell with the specified Spacing . For safety or other reasons you may specify a buffer (or border, if you prefer) within each grid cell. When non-zero, the pattern is constrained to fit inside the grid cell after subtracting the size of the border from each of the four sides.
