Fishing Section : April competition

Attendance was average at 30 participants and all were keen to snare that ‘big one’ in what can only be described as perfect weather. Members fished both in the Bay and outside, off Cape Moreton in up to 50 fathoms. Too deep to watch the bait hit the bottom! Greg Nielsen’s “Karma”, fishing out in the ‘deep’, produced a varied exotic and colourful catch with the Bay anglers providing a mixed and substantial bag. Results as follows: Boat Points Nielsen family, “Karma” Fish of the Month: Sweetlip Sam Nielsen, “Karma” Parrott Jay Nielsen, “Karma” Sand Crab Emily Debono, “Reel Apeel” Mystery Fish? Jay Nielsen, “Karma” Remember, the targets this weekend (6th–8th May) are Morwong and Whiting. See you at our Club and out on the water! Col Barker Mobile: 0400 305 377 Fishing Captain “Elizabeth”
