PGA Village Verano is located in the city of Port St. Lucie on Florida’s Treasure Coast—the gateway to South Florida.

The Treasure Coast offers everything visitors and newcomers flock to Florida to find, but with much less congestion and a lower cost of living than can be found in Palm Beach or Broward counties. Another fact that keeps residents sleeping well at night: Port St. Lucie was listed in the top 25 percent for Safest City in the US and #3 Safest City in Florida according to SafeHome.org. Proximity is everything at PGA Village, and neighboring Tradition and St. Lucie West both offer a wealth of diversions, from casual and fine dining to museums, theater, shopping, sporting activities, botanical gardens, fishing, dog parks and miles of beaches. And Port St. Lucie continues to grow. “We’re setting records for the number of permits for new commercial and residential construction,” said Terissa Aronson, president and CEO, St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce. Along with many

new restaurants, Port St. Lucie has recently welcomed a variety of new stores, including Aldi, Burlington Coat Factory, HomeGoods, LA Fitness and a Walmart Neighborhood Market, while natural and organic foods retailer Lucky’s Grocery is scheduled to open this year. Just nine miles from Verano, historic Fort Pierce is a charming marina town filled with restaurants, shops, art galleries and museums. The city plays host to Bike Night, Friday Fest and a weekly farmers market. Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce and the Lyric Theatre in Stuart host a varied calendar of live performances and theatrical productions. The entertainment district on Hutchinson Island heats up with live music and fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants and bars.
