represents the largest part of the company’s expansion; the building is expected to be ready in autumn. This is in addition to another 1,650m 2 from Hermle-Leibinger Systemtechnik GmbH moving out of the administrative wing. The investments are Leibinger’s response to the outstanding business performance in recent years. The company was able to increase sales volume by 23 per cent in 2013 alone. Volume in the first quarter of 2014 has already increased 12 per cent compared to the same period in the previous year. “Expanding the site was essential to keeping pace with growth,” added Christina Leibinger. This expansion will also entail new hires in production, sales as well as research and development with the goal of further increasing the product quality of Leibinger printers and promoting innovation. “A training classroom and a new showroom for industrial inkjet printers are also in the works. This will give customers and distributors the opportunity to interact with and explore all current models as well as to familiarise themselves with the functions of the printers and test them in depth.” Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co KG – Germany Website : www.leibinger-group.com

Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co KG is expanding its industrial inkjet printer product area at its headquarters in Tuttlingen, Germany, with a total investment volume of €8m. In addition to building a new production hall, a subtenant is moving out, creating more space for the existing service and administration area. The specialist for industrial marking and coding systems and verification solutions is expanding its headquarters by more than 30 per cent this year. The expansion primarily focuses on developing the production area for the JET3 and JET2neo series of inkjet printers. The new production hall will further expand the extensive production depth that already exists. The investment showcases the management’s bolstered drive for product manufacturing that is truly made in Germany. “We are increasing our flexibility, quality and productivity, which is reflected in even more extensive control over end products and their properties,” said CEO Christina Leibinger. “This ultimately benefits the customer through exceptionally reliable products.”
