Gamma Phi Beta Epsilon Gamma Chapter

The USD chapter of GAMMA PHI BETA, with 102 members, spent another year serving the community and theUniversity. The start ofspring, Formal Rush 1994, showed the women's spirit and enthusiasm with their new pledges. After their hard work on rush, the Gamma Phi's cel– ebrated with mixers, and parties with fraternities from both the USD and SDSU campuses. A highlight of the year can be remembered as the Crescent Ball, on one of Mission Bay's chartered yachts. The philanthropy chairwoman organized

many community service event including the Bayside Settlement Home, AIDs walk in San Di– ego, and the Soup Kitchen. During Homecoming, Gamma Phi Beta and families, celebratedParent's weekend while supporting Torero foot ba ll. Gamma Phi candidate, Jen McCann received the honor of being this year's Junior Attendant. As the year came to an end, the sisters agreed that the joy, fun, and pride in the soroity came from the a combination of all of it's aspects and events-Social, Philanthropy, and USD Involvement.
