Alcala Yearbook 1993-1994

The Previews The 1993 Torero fottball season was one of some disappointment for players, families, coaches, and students. Although the Toreros finished with a record of six and four, there was still not much satisfaction. Because of the big move from division three to division one-double A (I-AA), many people didn't expect the fighting Toreros to do as well as they did. No one should be disappointed in any way, because the future for our football team looks great. With a strong recruiting class for the 1994 season, the men are looking to compete for the league title next year. There will be several returning starters from the 1993 season who are more than ready to seek revenge on their opponents. The Toreros' Spring training further increases the players' chances to perform their best in the upcoming season. They hope to be ready to prove to everyone that they belong in division one, and can compete in it just as well, if not better, as any other division one team. Like every other season, 1993 was definitely one to remember.
