Meeting Start Time: 8:00am- (MST US) SPIFAN Program Chair: Mr. Darryl Sullivan (Chief Scientific Officer, Eurofins Food Integrity and Innovation)

I.

INTRODUCTION (Sullivan - 8:00am – 8:10am) Mr. Darryl Sullivan will call the Stakeholder Program meeting to order and introduce/welcome all participants. In addition, the AOAC policies for Antitrust, Volunteer Conflict of Interest, and Use ofAssociation Name and Insignia will be reviewed. GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES a. AOAC China Section Collaboration Update & Preparation of AOAC China Section Meeting (Liang/Konings - 8:10am – 8:55am) Dr. Cheng-Zhu Liang (Director, Qingdao Customs Technical Center) will provide an update on the upcoming AOAC China Section meeting itinerary currently scheduled for October 2022. Dr. Erik Konings (Program Manager, Nestlé Research Centre) will provide an update on on going engagement and collaboration relate to method alignment for China GB pertaining to GOS, MCPD, Osmolality, Vanillin, and Acrylamide. b. Codex Updates (Sullivan/Orlandi - 8:55am – 9:10am) Mr. Darryl Sullivan and Dr. Palmer Orlandi (Deputy Executive Director and Chief Science Officer, AOAC INTERNATIONAL) will provide a brief update on the Codex process in relation to the review and adoption of AOAC SPIFAN Methods. c. ISO/IDF Update (de Vreeze/Dubois/Holroyd - 9:10am – 9:30am) Drs. Marcel de Vreeze (Consultant, Royal Netherlands Standardization Institute, ISO) , Aurélie Dubois (Science and Standards ProgramManager, International Dairy Federation) , and Steve Holroyd (Principal Research Scientist, Fonterra) will provide updates related to infant formula & adult nutritional activities.

III. DISCUSSION ON THE AOAC PFAS INITIATIVE (Orlandi - 9:45am – 10:00am) Orlandi will provide information on Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.

IV. GUEST SPEAKER ON FLUORIDE: ANALYZING BREASTMILK USING F 19 NMR (Gauthier - 10:00am – 10:40am) Dr. Jeremy Gauthier (The Mabury Group) will provide relevant information and lead the discussion on Fluoride. V. METHODS UPDATE AND EXPERT REVIEW PANEL INFORMATION (Sullivan - 10:40am – 10:55am) Sullivan will provide an update on the methods submitted for review, the results and next steps from the AOAC SPIFAN Expert Review Panel meeting held July 28, 2022, in conjunction with AOAC Analytical Methods Week (AMW) summer session. VI. TIMELINES/DEADLINES/WRAP-UP (Sullivan - 10:55am – 11:00am) Sullivan will provide a timeline of AOAC SPIFAN activities including upcoming deadlines,review of any action items, and additional questions.
