A word to the Captains from the Captains before...

Jason Zhang and Uni Kyeong

Hi, first of all, congratulations on your new role as College Vice Captain! As you have probably heard many many times, this year will be crazily busy with school work, but it will also be a year of fun events like Senior Ball, and your last carnivals, last Jeans for Genes Day, last math assignment and last APS sports games. So embrace all the opportunities this role will throw at you, and enjoy your ‘lasts’ of everything! Best of luck! :)

Highlight of our Captaincy Having the privilege of speaking at the Senior Ball for the traditional Vice Captain speech. Unexpected things that happened during our Captaincy Year 7 camp: meeting and bonding with the amazing cohort. Also getting the opportunity to come up with a dance for the annual Year 7 camp talent show… Memorable moments with Dr Johnson and Mrs Foster • Borrowing a pen from Dr Johnson, only to realise, he only uses foun- tain pens... • The extremely hectic first assembly with Mrs Foster (Are we supposed to process in??) • Trying not to mess up on Founder’s Day… (We would never want to embarrass Mrs Foster!!) T he position of C ollege V ice -C aptain at S omerset can best be described as : An easy-going, spontaneous, unrestricted and gratifying experience, which provides you with the opportunity to give back to the Somerset community.
