B. Upon receipt of the request the supervisor will review operational schedules, previously approved absences and other applicable information to determine whether or not to grant the PLWOP paid time-off requested by the employee. C. When an employee submits a request for PTO, the City’s Time-Keeping System’s Cascading Rule will be applied to account for the PTO hours requested. The rule will be applied in the following order: a) Planned Leave Without Pay b) FLSA Comp Time c) Other Comp Time d) Annual Leave D. After determining whether or not the PLWOP will be granted, the supervisor will notify the employee of the decision. E.
