Working Alone Procedures (page 439)

This appendix is intended to establish safe procedures and protocols for employees that work alone. It applies to all City employees that have potential to be injured due to hazardous work activities or a victim of violent crime while working alone. Smokers are allowed to smoke in outdoor area(s) only; this applies to staff, visitors and contractors. Employees found in violation of the policy are to review the policy with their supervisor and sign an acknowledgment and understanding of the policy.
