The harbour is in direct connexion with all railway lines issuing from

Aalborg-Norresundby.

The port possesses bonded warehouses and grain elevators, and there is a

coaling depot with modern crane facilities.

Aalborg exports to the principal ports in the North Sea, the Mediterranean, U. S. A. Atlantic ports, and also ports in East Asia, Australia and South America, thus affording excellent conditions for securing return cargoes. There is one drydock accommodating vessels having a length of up to 380 feet. (maximum), and there are three slips to accommodate vessels weighing up to 1000 tons.
