WORK EXPERIENCE From 01/10/16 to on-going Agricultural Officer

ICQRF (Central Inspectorate for Quality Safeguarding and Anti-fraud of foodstuffs and agricultural products) – Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, Via Pitteri, 110 – Milano (Italy)  Leading audit and inspection team along the agri-food system.  Documentary and physical check for plant health (plant protection products and pesticide residues, for a sustainable agriculture), food/feed factories, food/feed laboratories, animal by-product.  Assessment and provision of chemical information within a regulatory context.  Surveillance, monitoring and enforcement of legislation on food/feed. Sector Audits, inspections and related non-audit activities aimed at ensuring that legislation on food/feed safety and quality, animal health, animal welfare and plant health is properly implemented and enforced. Detect and prevent violations of agrifood system rules (food/feed frauds). European Food SafetyAuthority (EFSA), Parma (Italy)  Risk assessment for feed additive.  Contribute to the procedure to update the guidance. Contribute to the revision of existing policies and procedures to respond to emerging needs.  Contribute to the collection of information and collation of data within the remit of the Unit. Revise the drafts based on comments submitted by experts and facilitate the consensus building.  Provide support to the working group/panel in issues related to the area of work.
