05/1995 – 08/1996

ACADEMICS • Product Management Course – University of California Berkeley – 2013 • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry - University of Madras (January 2010) • Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE -1996) – 87.51 percentile • M.Sc. in Chemistry Madurai Kamaraj University (1993-1995) -73.33% • B.Sc. in Chemistry Madurai Kamaraj University (1990 -1993)-83.95% THESIS OUTLINE The work is focused on the trace level health hazardous ionic contaminants analysis, such as azide, amines in complex pharmaceutical matrices using ion chromatography and inline sample preparation. Developed new in-line sample preparation processes using novel valve configurations and time programming to achieve sample handling without direct sample contact by the analyst. Low pressure in line sample preparation method, pre-separation and matrix elimination is optimized and applied wherever possible. Trace level primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary amines in various cationic pharmaceutical samples are carried out using the inline-matrix elimination method. Rugged methods are developed, which have overcome the limitations of the existing Compendial methods in United States Pharmacopeia (USP) monographs. • Matrix Elimination Ion Chromatography Method for Trace Level Azide Determination in Irbesartan Drug.
