The Lambs Club celebrates Broadway and gastronomy

Tucked into Manhattan’s landmarked Chatwal Hotel, The Lambs Club is intertwined with Broadway’s storied past. The building’s distinct history is an integral part of The Lambs Club’s identity, which is reflected in the restaurant’s atmospheric dining room; here, guests can sit alongside the 18th-century fireplace that was a gift from architect Stanford White to the thespian society The Lambs, in a space that honors the bygone era. In the fall of 2010, esteemed Chef Geoffrey Zakarian drew on his culinary career spanning more than 30 years to open a restaurant here, and now The Lambs Club is celebrated for its cocktails and culinary offerings. With Chef Zakarian at the helm, the kitchen cooks up Modern American cuisine that pays tribute to the season’s finest ingredients. Expect mouth- watering plates such as Butter-Poached Nova Scotia Lobster Tail with Ricotta Gnudi, and Creekstone Farms Dry-Aged Ribeye with

Bordelaise, with a summer menu highlighting fresh produce such as tomatoes and peaches from the market in Union Square. Zakarian previously worked in the kitchens of top restaurants such as Le Cirque, earned his own Michelin Star, has several shows on the Food Network and has once again proven his culinary prowess by making The Lambs Club the destination it is today. When asked to identify the secret behind the restaurant’s success, Zakarian says he owes it to the service they provide: “Whatever the customer wants, we deliver it consistently and with care,” he enthuses, “It sounds simple, but if you always say yes, people will want to come back.” A hearty meal here can be paired with masterfully crafted cocktails in The Lambs Club Bar or with wines from an award-winning list, selected by Wine Director and Sommelier A.J. Ojeda-Pons. With its location in the heart of the

Theater District and just moments from Times Square, pre and post theater dining menus draw plentiful diners in too. The weekend crowd pours in for exuberant brunch offerings accompanied by live jazz, which Zakarian explains reflects his own love for music and the restaurant’s vibrant setting. “We are surrounded by the best musicians in the city, so it’s a great pleasure to have them with us at The Lambs Club.” Whether it’s for a leisurely brunch or night of fine dining, guests will surely want to return time and time again.
