I hope you find it an enjoyable read. This issue features articles on straightening and finishing as well as handling and packing. During the course of the last few months I have travelled to FABTECH in Atlanta and Tube China, with a trip to Dubai and Tube Arabia just around the corner, and there was a general consensus that the industry was looking in good shape to get back to its strongest in 2011. Some jobs have been lost, which is always very sobering but, of course, as the recovery spreads around the world most companies will, with a bit of luck, be more tightly run ships ready to make sure they maximise all the opportunities that are starting to appear. Some countries are still a way off entering recovery but the ones that have show there is hope. Please make sure you get in touch in time for the next issue and send me all your latest news and developments as well as articles for our features on inspection and automotive tubes. Best wishes for the New Year. Rory McBride – Editor
