Christmas Menu 2016 Starters Roasted Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup with a freshly baked roll and butter Rich Chicken Liver Pâté with toasted brioche, cornichons and bramley apple chutney Smoked Salmon layered with radishes, beetroot, orange, horseradish cream and baby salad leaves (V) Grilled Goats Cheese with pear and candied pecan nut salad Mains Traditional Roast Turkey with pigs-in-blankets, roast potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, roasted root vegetables, Brussel sprouts and turkey & bacon gravy Venison Steak braised cabbage & blackberries, roasted carrots and creamed potato Seafood Tagine with king prawns, mussels, clams and squid in a rich lightly spiced tomato and chickpea sauce on lemon & almond Couscous (V) Chestnut, Spinach and Blue Cheese en Croûte with flavours of nutmeg and clove, served with thyme roasted potatoes and roasted root vegetable s Desserts Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce Mincemeat, Apple and Cranberry Lattice with Amaretto cream Boozy Chocolate Mousse layered with biscuit and whipped vanilla cream 3 courses for £25 per person 2 courses for £20 per person Served 1st-23rd December. The Furze Bush Inn serves lunches and dinners every day, with a restaurant, seating up to eighty. It’s an ideal venue for an event. The Furze Bush Inn is a traditional country inn, dating back to the early 19 th Century sitting in extensive gardens just over the county boundary in north Hampshire. The original buildings have been extended to include a large restaurant and comfortable Hotel accommodation whilst our bars retain the original charm of a country inn. The Furze Bush Inn has 10 ensuite, air-conditioned hotel rooms with Egyptian cotton linen. Weddings, Funerals and Corporate Dinners, The Furze Bush Inn can cater for them all.
