chateau LATOUR. A magnificent wine of wonderful fragrance and particularly noted for its peculiarly delicate body. This is a very safe wine to lay down, for its body develops in bottle, and lasts for many years. The golden years of Chateau Latour are as follows :— 1858, 1862, 1864, 1865, 1868, 1869, 1870, 1875, 1877, 1878, and in more recent limes 1920 is outstanding.

chateau HAUT-BRION. A wine distinguished by its beautiful colour, exquisite bouquet, and very fine flavour. It is inter esting to note that all Chateau bottlings at Haut- Brion, previous to the year 1900, were delivered to the ' trade ' unlabelled. Vintages subsequent to this date bear the Chateau mark on corks and capsules, but the label shown below did not appear until 1904, since which all bottles are so distinguished.
