Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo: Modifications with Care

Style deserves serious attention! At the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, thirty-five rooms were renovated from October through last April. The thorough renovation of this 5-star hotel’s private spaces will unfold over the next five years. Guests can already experience the refreshed rooms in the Beaumarchais wing, where the cherished style of this’ connoisseur’s hotel” is maintained and showcased in warm, light hues. The spaces have been made larger (reducing the total number of rooms from 276 to 262), the furnishings are cosy, and the apparent freshness creates a subtle feel of being in a wonderful home. This gentle evolution will carry on next year with around forty more renovated rooms and suites, alongside the introduction of a new bar beneath the Eiffel dome in the Winter Garden. Ranked eleventh among the top 15 hotels in the South of France and Monaco by Condé Nast Traveler and receiving a four-star award from Forbes since 2020, this establishment stands out for its commitment to preserving the essence of the Belle Époque while catering to contemporary tastes. A recent highlight for Hermitage Monte Carlo: the two Michelin stars awarded to L’Abysse Monte-Carlo just ten months after its inauguration, a Japanese-inspired restaurant created by chefs Yannick Alléno and Yasunari Okazaki.
