Debbie Siwek

Debbie Siwek stated she had made a deposit of $93,900 for membership dues. Debbie reviewed the list of 8 member resignations and 2 Junior Members for 2019. Member resignations : Hunt and Barbara Taylor, Tom and Susan Ford, Ron and Carrie Henry, Doug and Katie Bruce, Bob and Cindy Swan, Rich and Mary Goodman, Dave and Cindy McKnight, Paul and Mary Rener. Junior Resignations: Brandon Carnaghi, Nick Michael Debbie read a request from a member for an extension for dues payment until he finds out the status of his job due to potential layoffs. The board agreed to give him an extension until March 1. Debbie mentioned a discussion with one member who stated he was considering resigning since he could come to the club with member friends several times per year. Motion: Moved by P/C Randy Pagel and seconded by Dale Hall to ask the policy committee to present recommendations to the board of how many times a visitor can come to the club. Motion Carried. Debbie presented an issue of prospective members who have asked to stay on the waiting list. After discussion Debbie stated she would create a new application that states timelines of when a prospective new member will be interviewed and when they must officially join the club.

Motion : Moved by Frank Corcoran and seconded by Debbie Siwek that new members must decide to join the club by May 1 and that their application fee is nonrefundable if they choose not to join. Motion Carried

New Member approval

Motion (3) : Moved by Debbie Sewik and seconded by P/C Randy Pagel to approve Douglas and Krista Betts for membership. Motion Carried. Moved by Debbie Sewik and seconded by V/C Bill Calihan to approve Andrea Grennan for membership. Motion carried. Moved by Debbie Sewik and seconded by P/C Randy Pagel to approve Larry and Barbara Aliotta for membership. Motion Carried

Debbie indicated that she and Greg Brigman would be interviewing 2 perspective members before the next board meeting.
