IWMA member organisations value highly the promotional and communication medium provided by WCN, the Association’s newsletter. All members can submit editorials about their organisations (not adverts) for free publication to target the wire and cable industry worldwide. In hard copy form WCN is read by nearly ten thousand people around the globe. Members’ articles are also posted as individual news items on the IWMA website www.iwma.org. Now, the IWMA has an ‘E-Zine’ or electronic version of WCN and many more industry people worldwide can receive it. WCNwill continue tobemailedout in its hard copy formand tobewidelydistributed at all major wire exhibitions supported and attended by the IWMA as well as at its technical conferences. A number of members have told us that they prefer the hard copy to add to their archive libraries but the IWMA believes that the E-Zine will prove its worth in communicating to areas with unreliable postal services as well as extending the readership worldwide in a very cost-effective way. If your company is a member of the IWMA please take advantage of this totally free promotional benefit and email us your press release, ideally around 250–300 words, with supporting photos to: info@iwma.org The next edition of WCN will be distributed at the Metaltech exhibition in Brazil, wire Southeast Asia 2009 in Bangkok and the Istanbul Cable & Wire 09 technical conference in Turkey.
