Keep like items together •

For example: Cars and trucks together, dolls together, infant toys together, stuffed animals together, etc… • Separate puzzles from games • Merchandise vertically by 3’ to 4’ sections • Bagged sections before baskets and shelf sections • Use grid baskets with dividers to keep like items together • Keep shelving consistent across category • Keep smaller items towards the top and larger items towards the bottom • Pull all product forward on the shelves for visibility • Make neat rows • Avoid over stocking – “piling” • Hanging merchandise on peg hooks is always displayed above items on shelves
