Sporting Goods • Balls • Bats • Helmets

Keep like items together •

For example: balls together, helmets together, etc…

Merchandise vertically by 3’ to 4’ sections • Bagged sections before baskets and shelf sections • Use grid baskets with dividers to keep like items together

Keep shelving consistent across category •

• Golf Clubs • Racquets • Biking Items

Keep smaller items towards the top and larger items towards the bottom

• Pull all product forward on the shelves for visibility • Make neat rows • Avoid over stocking – “piling” • Hanging merchandise on peg hooks is always displayed above items on shelves • No merchandise placed on shelf below hanging items

• Helmets, tire repair, tires, pedals, etc …

• Camping Items

• Coolers, sleeping bags, tents, canteens, etc…

• Work Out Items

• Yoga mats, weights, jump ropes, bands, etc…

• Water Items

• Floaties, swim fins, goggles, etc…

• Trophies • Roller Skates/Blades • Skis/Snowboards • Fishing Poles
