Use Zap a Gap for stabilizing to help produce a more solid center and add weight. A Jantz exclusive, our Fabricated Ivory is an inexpensive alternative to genuine Ivory. The color and texture patterns are designed to look and feel like natural ivory. This material can be shaped and sanded with files, sandpaper and buffed with white rouge for a lustrous finish. Care should be taken when drilling and pinning holes as this material is fragile until it is fixed to your blade. Add spacers of composite stone, or use the fiber spacer material. Fabricated Pearl
Extremely solid, without pith, just a small vein hole in the center. Good color and texture. When worked down it gives a good solid white surface, the perfect choice for carving and scrimshaw. Length of Crowns are 5” to 6”.
