General Manager's Message

Dear Members, I hope you are enjoying the fall weather.

Cart path repairs have begun at Founders and should be completed by mid-November. We will experiment with a stronger concrete with mesh fibers and also test a compacted aggregate base under some areas to try to improve the paths resistance to cracking under the heavy tournament construction loads. The top driving range tee and short game tee at Founders have been overseeded with perennial ryegrass. Play will remain on the back tee until early November to allow the ryegrass to establish. The lower driving range tee at Legacy has been overseeded and play will be moved to it once the ryegrass has established. The Residential Lawn Care division is now in operation and has seen a lot of early interest. We will put flyers in the mailboxes of all members that live inside the gates. The services offered at this point include irrigation monitoring and repair, chemical applications and small projects such as pine straw installation. The Membership Development Team is now in place. Channa McKenna and Robert Street are excited to begin in their new positions as Membership Development Associates. Please reach out to them or Ashley Devine with any prospective members you know. Andy Gray will move from Aquatics to the Membership Development Office in November for the winter and take on a new primary focus while still being involved with Membership Sales. His focus will be on Member Retention and building the Ambassador Program. He will also oversee all children’s programs, safety and CPR certifications. Two new and exciting things unveiling soon will be our first Greystone app coming to the App Store and Google Play, and a Real Estate section of the website with active listings. Thank you for an incredible year at Greystone. We continue to make positive progress with improving the quality of Club op- erations, service and the overall member experience. There is still plenty of improvement in all areas and we will continue on that path into 2019. Best wishes for a happy & healthy holiday season! Best regards,
