Office Hours— We are open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As always, if you need assistance during other days and times, please don’t hesitate to call and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Call 846-3148 for information. The Town Office will be closed Monday, May 27 th in observance of Memorial Day. Transfer Station— The Transfer Station is now open Monday and Thursday morning from9:00 to 11:00;Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 1:30 to 5:00; and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 5:00. As always, the Transfer Station is closed on Tuesday. Town Meeting— The warrant for our Annual Town Meeting to be held Saturday, June 8t h will be finalized at the end of April. As it stands right now, April 19 th , if all of the warrant articles are approved at town meeting, the tax rate will increase to approximately 18.50 per thousand dollars of value. The rate is currently 16.50. So that would mean an increase of $500 if the total value

of your real estate is $250,000. In addition to the approval of the 2019-2020 budget, we will also be voting on whether or not to adopt a Fireworks Ordinance. Please come to town meeting and participate in the voting!! Elections June 11— We will be electing two Board of Selectmen members and two School Board Committee members. Jay Corson and Donna Damon are running for the Board of Selectmen and Suzanne Rugh and Christin Nadeau are running for the School Board committee. Second half of taxes due March 29, 2019— T he second half of your property taxes was due March 29, 2019. Interest accrues daily at 8%.
