She is a talented, all-around player who will provide depth both as a setter and an outside hitter. She begins the 1992 season in the number five spot in career assists (535) at USD and posted 1991 season bests of 60 assists and 19 digs at the University of San Francisco. Voted the Toreros' "Most Valuable Player" in 1991, Nikki was named West Coast Conference "Freshman Of The Year" in 1990 and to the the All– WCC First Team in 1991. She is the Toreros' prime candidate for post-season honors in 1992. Nikki is the USD career (170) and single season (104, 1991) record holder for block assists. She is a USD Presidential Scholar who has been a Dean's List selectee during each of her four semesters at USD. PERSONAL: The daughter of Gene and Aletha Wallace, Nichol Alida Wallace was born in Lancaster CA. She attended Antelope Valley HS in Lancaster, where she played for Head Coach Charley Williams.
