SENIOR CITIZENS OUTREACH WEEKEND Ralph and Eunice L. ofClairmont: "you girls are just wonderful to do this." Mr. A.of San Diego: "I not only enjoyed the fruits of theirlabors, but looking at their beautiful shining faces wasa real treat".Mrs. C. of Kearny Mesa: "They not only cleaned my house, they alsoshowed mehow toopen the hood of my car! They're wonderful boys, and they can come back anytime. Not only to clean, but just to talk, too. They're great!" The above comments came fromSen­ ior citizenswho participated in the Office of Commu­ nity Services (OCS) sponsored "SeniorCitizen's Out­ reach Weekend". Headed by Directors Meg Heidrick and Matty Sandoval, the OCS worked for months coordinating students' and senior citizens' schedules so that they could all meet on the eventful weekend. Approximately 160 went to 50 seniors' houses and cleaned windows, cars, etc., vaccumod, did "Garden Cleaning" (remember that, Anne T. and Theresa K '), and learned that there's more tolife than USD, Student after Student remarked on how kind and generous t heir "employers" were, and how much of a family atmosphere pervaded their time together.
