MEN'S CREW

Completing its sixth year at USD, the men's crew team displayed the dedication and hard work that has helpedportray crew as one of the most demand­ ing sports. Rowing is a discipline that requires not only total physical devotion (no partying for these guys — tee heel) but alsovery strongmental devo­ tion. To develop such the membersengage inrigor­ ous physical andmental exercises.Their hard work payed off as in 1982 the crew team placed third in the San Diego Crew Classic. With opponents such as SDSU, Long Beach, and Washington State, the Tore­ ros have proven themselves to be an extraordinary team. To the members of the 1982-83 Crew team we salute you with t is quote: "Is Life but a boat race?"
