The Reno Games are an intercollegiate Business Policy compe­ tition. All teams operate in a computer simulated business climate. The Games consist of a Five year play— during the first 2Vz years Quarterly decisions are made and submitted daily. The second 2Vi are accelerated in the week of initial competition. There are 19 undergraduate business schoolsthat compete. They are divided into three divisions or "industries"of six teams each (don't ask me what happens to the 19th one). The winner of each industry competes for the overall grand championship. USD is the defend­ ing Grand Champion and set its sights on a repeat performance. Returnees for the team are Keith Mullin and Don Moser. New­ comers include Greg Flaherty, Lori Murray, JenniferBrae and John Cappetta. The t am is coached by Dave Rogers, with Gary Whitney as faculty advisor. The m mbers of the teamspend long hours preparingfor the Games by writing programs, conducting analyses, studying data, anddiscussing strategy.
