Rev. Kimberly Glenn , St. John's, Lynchburg I have observed and participated in the ordination process in a different Diocese, the Diocese of Virginia, both on discernment committees and as a candidate. I'm also practiced in conflict resolution and have experience as a professional realtor.

Rev. Helen Beasley , Good Shepherd, Blue Grass 1. Intense interest in how the diocese works locally, works in relationship to the U.S. Episcopal Communion, and works in relation to the Anglican World Communion. 2. Former experience as a Standing Committee member. 3. An ability to articulate the finer points of issues arising out of committee work. 4. An ability to speak to nuances having to do with theology, spirituality, and church organization arising out of committee work. 5. A life time in the clergy, as a clergy child, a clergy wife, and a clergy member. 6. A clergy person ordained for 25 years with extensive experience running and servicing churches in two dioceses and creating programs of outreach that bring the diocese closer to those who need its help. 7. One who cares deeply for the marginalized and the suffering and is therefore committed to participation on diocese committees whose work on one level or another also participates in this

Standing Committee, Lay Member

Carey Harveycutter , St Paul’s Salem I have been involved in the life of the Diocese for many years. I was co-chair if the 75th anniversary celebration, serve presently on the disciplinary board, and served two terms on the Standing committee, one with Bishop Powell and one with Bishop Bourlakus. I am always willing to offer a differing opinion when warranted in delicate discussions.
