The Pipeswizard Ultra RIM Clamp is designed for use on out-of-round pipes that require a high level of accuracy in their alignment. Capable of reforming out-of-round pipe with over 2" wall thickness, the Ultra RIM Clamp provides an alternative to the Pipeswizard Double Chain Clamps for customers who prefer a clamp with a rigid shell. The multiple jackscrews on the Ultra RIM Clamp give the operator the ability to apply precise reforming pressure on the exact areas of pipe that are most in need of it. The specialised torque wrench supplied with each clamp furthers this capability by allowing the operator to set the exact torque required for the reforming application. The flip-up jackbars on the Ultra RIM Clamp allow for simple pipe mating, and also ensure that the clamps can be used for applications that require 100 per cent weld and/or grinding. Each heavy- duty jackbar is provided with a pivot pad, which allows for use on coated or uneven pipe surfaces. The latching mechanism ensures stability and safety on the pipe.
