Power tubes For over 60 years e2v has been supplying customers with power tubes providing performance and long life. invests in manufacturing lead-time reduction and improved customer service. All tubes are subjected to extensive high voltage conditioning and full functional RF/DC testing procedures. Ranging in power output from 30 to 530kW, many of the triodes and tetrodes that the company manufactures are either direct equivalents for other manufacturers’ tubes, or can be used to replace them with e2v’s guidance. A dedicated engineering team can advise on any particular tube or application.

Stainless steel tubes and pipes Remi manufactures stainless steel tubes and pipes, mainly to ASTM/ASME standards and equivalent ISO, EN and DIN standards. All types of austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, Duplex and super austenitic grades with high and low carbon with restricted chemistry are within Remi’s manufacturing range, with tie-up with suppliers of cold rolled strip and extruded mother hollows. Remi is approved by India’s major thermal and nuclear power companies for heat exchanger, HP heater U-bent tubes (seamless, welded, and welded cold drawn), where the temperatures (390°C) and pressures (~600kg/cm 2 ) are super critical.

These developments have been possible due to the addition of modern equipment at the company’s Tarapur works. Remi has commissioned a bright annealing furnace from Mahler that will allow it to manufacture and anneal tubes in small diameters with lengths up to 30m. For ultrasonic testing, Remi has GE Rota 65 equipment. The company is ISO 9001/14001 and BS18001 OHSAS accredited by TÜV.

Remi can supply HP heater tubes up to 30m (98ft) developed length, leg length up to 14m (46ft), with U-bend radius two times diameter up to 1,000mm (40"), diameters of 15.875mm ( 5 / 8 "), in a range of thicknesses.

The company supplies mainly to oil, gas and power industries through EPC contractors and equipment fabricators. In a plan to enhance its product portfolio, Remi has introduced high pressure, feed water heater U-bent tubes.

Connectors for expanded tubes FasTest has introduced a new series of value connectors for expanded tubes. The cam lever design is simple to use, adjust and maintain.
