A warm welcome to the latest issue of Tube Products International magazine. Inside you will find all of the latest news and product information on companies in the tube products industry – from giant global companies to smaller, more specialised regional stockists. You will find everything you need to know to keep up to date and find the right product. This issue we also have a feature on plastic and composite tubes and take a look at three huge industry shows – Tube India 2014 in Mumbai, EuroBLECH 2014 in Hanover, Germany, and FABTECH in Atlanta, USA. The magazine will, of course, be represented at all of these shows so come and visit members of our team at their booths. The magazine will be freely distributed to the many thousands of visitors. I will be travelling to Atlanta, USA, in November for FABTECH. It will be my second visit to the city, which I found a very welcoming destination. Even in the two years since I last visited, the US, and the southern States in particular, have experienced a growing boom in energy-related industries such as oil and shale, so I expect the tube industry to be in a very positive mood following an up and down few years since the global financial crisis. The editorial deadline date for our November issue is 25 August with the advertising deadline on 5 September. That magazine will be distributed at Tube Arabia 2015 and
