Life Cycle of an EC Record – IR or ECN

• WORKFLOW_REVIEW-STATUS : The ECR record is in workflow and has been approved by at least one workflow decision maker (so it is not in its first workflow state). Users can edit the ECR Data Form’s metadata and add/remove attachments. Users cannot change its assigned Form. Users cannot add/remove assigned documents against the ECR record. ECR records are in the WORKFLOW_REVIEW- STATUS until the ECR record is approved/rejected out of workflow. • WORKFLOW_REJECTED-STATUS : A workflow decision maker found an issue and rejected the ECR record back to the users. Users can edit the ECR Data Form’s metadata, change its assigned Form, add/remove assigned documents, and add/remove attachments. ECR records are in the WORKFLOW_REJECTED-STATUS until the ECR record is resubmitted to workflow or terminated. • ACCEPTED-STATUS : When the ECR record has been approved through its workflow states, the ECR record is placed in the ACCEPTED-STATUS . An ACCEPTED ECR record has been approved (its requested changes are valid and need to be applied), but its requested changes have yet to be applied. To continue through its life-cycle process, the ECR record will eventually need to be assigned to an ECR record. The ECR record is closed and available for read-only access. • PENDING-STATUS : When the ECR record is assigned to and ECN record ( incorporating the requested changes of the ECR record), the ECR record is placed in the PENDING-STATUS . The ECR record will be visible from the [ ECR ] grid from its parent ECN record. The ECR record is still closed and available for read-only access. • COMPLETED-STATUS : When the ECR record’s incorporating ECN record (its parent ECN record) is completed and placed in its COMPLETED-STATUS , then its incorporated ECR records (its assigned ECR records) will also be completed and placed in the COMPLETED-STATUS . It has been completed and it has reached the end of its life cycle processes. The ECR record is closed and available for read-only access. • TERMINATED-STATUS : When the ECR record has been terminated (completely canceled), the ECR record is placed in the TERMINATED-STATUS . It has been terminated and is no longer available for life cycle processes. The ECR record is closed and available for read-only access.
