Life Cycle of an EC Record – ECR

By selecting its [Apply] Button ”, the ECR record is created and the border of the ECR Data Form changes to yellow (indicating that the ECR Data Form is in the Edit mode). However, its [EC_STATE] (referencing the life- cycle status of the ECR record) will remain NEW until the ECR record is submitted to workflow or terminated:

Users can edit the ECR Data Form’s metadata, change its assigned Form and add/remove assigned documents. Its assigned documents can be CHECKED-OUT and CHECKED-IN as needed.
