Accessing Existing EC Records – Assigning Documents

Once completed, the accepted assemblies (those that can be added to the ECN Data Form based on the environment’s options), will be visible in its [ DOCUMENT ] grid as assigned documents:

NOTE: By default, documents can only be assigned to an open EC Data Form if the EC record is Not currently in workflow. Optionally, the administrator may configure the environment’s options to accept adding and removing assigned documents when the EC record is in its first workflow state. MORE: The environment can be configured to control which users can assign documents to an EC Data Form. If the user does not have access to the [Add Working Set] Button then the user may need to ask the administrator for permission to assign documents to an existing EC Data Form.
