Life Cycle of an EC Record – IR or ECN

By selecting its [Apply] Button ”, the ECN record is created and the border of the ECN Data Form changes to yellow (indicating that the ECN Data Form is in the Edit mode). However, its [EC_STATE] (referencing the life- cycle status of the ECN record) will remain NEW until the ECN record is submitted to workflow or terminated:

Users can edit the ECN Data Form’s metadata, change its assigned Form, add/remove assigned documents, add/remove attachments and add/remove ECR records to be incorporated . Its assigned documents can be CHECKED-OUT and CHECKED-IN as needed.
