Life Cycle of an EC Record – IR or ECN

By selecting its [Apply] Button ”, the IR record is created and the border of the IR Data Form changes to yellow (indicating that the IR Data Form is in the Edit mode). However, its [EC_STATE] (referencing the life-cycle status of the IR record) will remain NEW until the IR record is submitted to workflow or terminated:

Users can edit the IR Data Form’s metadata, change its assigned Form, add/remove assigned documents and add/remove attachments. Its assigned documents can be CHECKED-OUT and CHECKED-IN as needed.
